Every Tuesday, our volunteers prepare and serve fresh hot meals to homeless people and those in poverty in Bradford. The menu includes chicken biryani with raita and bread, plus hot chocolate, tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit.
InTouch Foundation UK is a volunteer-led charity serving hot meals and emotional support to homeless people and those living in poverty across Yorkshire — every week, without fail.
"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone; we wish for neither reward nor gratitude from you."
InTouch Foundation UK was founded in 2012 in Bradford by a group of community volunteers who wanted to directly address homelessness and poverty on local streets. We are a registered, not-for-profit charity — every penny donated goes straight to the people who need it.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life: different backgrounds, faiths, and ethnicities. We believe in bringing communities together for one shared purpose — helping people in need. Since launching, we have served over 200,000 meals across Yorkshire.
100% volunteer-driven — no paid staff, maximum impact.
Open to all volunteers and all people in need, regardless of background.
Registered charity with full accountability for every donation.
Rooted in Bradford with ambitions to expand across the North.
We run three core programmes that tackle food poverty, build community resilience, and extend our reach internationally.

Beyond feeding, we create opportunities for local people to get actively involved in making a difference in their neighbourhoods across Yorkshire. We run events, fundraisers and awareness campaigns.
We are involved in small-scale relief projects across multiple countries, including emergency food and aid initiatives. Our overseas work ensures that communities in crisis receive direct, practical support.

Become a regular volunteer. Help with food prep, serving, or organising. You'll be part of something genuinely impactful.
Every pound goes directly towards food, preparation and serving. We are entirely volunteer-run, so there are no management fees eating into your gift.
A single contribution that goes straight to feeding one person a full hot meal tonight — chicken biryani, raita, bread, and a hot drink.
A regular monthly gift means we can plan ahead and guarantee meals every week, not just when one-off donations come in. £5 a month equals 2 full meals, every single month.
Businesses, schools and community groups can sponsor an entire weekly food session. Your logo appears on all session materials and social media. A powerful way to demonstrate your community values.
InTouch Foundation is a fully registered UK charity (No. 1158532), regulated by the Charity Commission. Our sessions are funded by community sponsors and donations — every penny is accounted for. We have no paid executives; our entire operation runs on volunteer goodwill. You can see our charity record at the Charity Commission register.
Coming to InTouch every Tuesday is the highlight of my week. Seeing the gratitude on people's faces when you hand them a hot meal — that's something no words can describe.
I started as a guest volunteer and fell in love with the community here. InTouch brought together people from every background — we cook, serve and laugh together. It's family.
We sponsored a session for our company team day. It was more impactful than any team-building exercise we've done. Our team left feeling proud and motivated.
